A government ordinance granting financial support to promote innovative and sustainable housing practices will take effect July 1st 2018. The Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning (Boverket) will be tasked with administering the support money. It is decided that between 2018 and 2020 an amount of 275 million Swedish krona can be given to organizations that introduce new techniques and technologies within building design, life cycle analysis, interior environments, digitalization, and reducing material consumption.

Those wishing to receive a grant should make their applications between August 1st and October 8th of this year, the next application period will be in 2019. Forms for filling out an application will be available on Boverkets website starting August 1st.
